Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?
A. Only three? Well, I guess I'll have to say Ilona and Gordon Andrews, Jill Shalvis, and Shelly Laurenston. The first two because I stalk their blogs since they're so entertaining. The last because I love her snarky writing which I hope reflects her personality.

New follower here! I'll have to check those authors out. I admit, I haven't heard about them before, but I LOVE snarky.
Also, yay unemployment! Well, not really, I go into repayment in November for $89K in graduate school loans and I can't find a job. They're going to love me come the time I call them crying.
Happy Friday!
Book Brats!
Hopping through. I haven't heard of any of these authors, except for Ilona Andrews. What has Shelly written?
My Hop
Hi, I am a new follower to the blog just hopping through. I have heard of all of the authors, but have yet to read any of their books.
Danielle @Ramblings From This Chick
*Megan @ Book Brats: If you're into urban fantasy, contemporary or paranormal romance you should definitely check out those authors.
Ouch, that's the main reason I'm trying to avoid grad school. They'll love you as long as you pay them off, though the phone calls and letters in the interim might get annoying.
*Alison Can Read: Shelly Laurenston is a paranormal romance writer. Her continuing series are The Pride Stories and The Dragon Kin series under the name G.A Aiken. Her other series are Magnus Pack, The Gathering, and Long Island Coven which is typically featured in anthologies.
*Danielle Gorman: You should definitely try out Ilona Andrews if you're into urban fantasy. The series and writing gets better after each book. Also, Shelly's Pride Series and her Dragon Kin series are great fun for paranormal romance.
Hi there, I'm hopping through.
Have a great weekend!

*Pedantic Phooka: Thanks for hopping by, I hope you have a great weekend too!
*Sharon: Love Ilona Andrews! Thanks for the follow!
*Lani Wendt Young: Lol, they're mainly just spur of the moment rants that are meaningful to me and pretty much useless to others except maybe for entertainment value. And trust me, I eat ALOT too! I saw that roast pig on your blog and that had me drooling.
*BookJunkie: You should definitely look into them. They're great writers in their respective genres.
*Grave: I'm glad you enjoy my website title, I'll likely change it once I get a real job. Rants of a bitter (insert new job title here).
New follower hopping through! :)
I haven't heard of any of those authors so I will definitely have to check them out!

*Jenny @ Nerd Girls: Thanks for the follow and if you have time, you should check out those authors.
*andi: I love reading the works of chloe neill and jeaniene frost also. thanks for the follow.
I haven't heard of any of those authors... I think Neil Gaiman has the best blog going. It hits that perfect blend between being formal and relaxed. Reading it, you feel like you really know him. It's like reading a letter from a friend. I like his blog better than I like his books!
I like Brandon Sanderson's blog a lot, too. He really lets you inside his head, and you can see his process as he's writing. It's fascinating.
New follower through Follow Friday. Not sure if we read any of the same books, but as someone who has been trying for over 5 years to get a school library job after getting a master's degree in library science, I'm guessing I'll really enjoy commiserating with your posts. Check out my blog if you want here: http://misclisa.blogspot.com/
I'm not familiar with those authors' works, but I have heard of Gordon Andrews. I also enjoy snarky writing. :)
I am hopping through and following. Please consider visiting my hopping post here.
Have a great weekend. :)
*Madigan McGillicudy: I'll be sure to check out their blogs. I hate to say this but I also think some author blogs are more interesting than their books.
*Lisa Mandina: That completely sucks that you have a Master's in library science and still can't find a job in that field.
*Lari: I love snarky writing too. I need sarcasm and wit to make my crappy days better.
New follower :) Love, love, love Ilona Andrews!!
This is my first FF and I am loving it! So great to meet like minded souls.
Here are my choices. Cute blog by the way, I think I am going to like it here.
