Q: When you've read a book, what do you do with it? (Keep it, give it away, donate it, sell it, swap it..?)
A: It really depends on the book. For books that I really enjoy, I lend it to my friends. If the book wasn't that great I'll either donate or give it away. However, for most books, I just keep it and shelve it.

Current Giveaways:
The Master by Jean Johnson (12/31)
Twice Bitten by Chloe Neill (12/31)

Having been rejected or ignored by company after company since I graduated college at the end of 2010, this blog was made to vent, rant, or review whatever or whomever piques my interest. Warning, this is a picture heavy site! Comments are always appreciated but not necessary.

Q. Keeping with the Spirit of Giving this season, what book do you think EVERYONE should read and if you could, you would buy it for all of your family and friends?
A. For all the Romance readers, I believe my choice for 2011 releases will have to be Making Waves by Tawna Fenske. The book has drugs, pirates, strip battleship, and cheese doodle, which leads to a rather hilarious read.
The books I recommend that everyone should read in general are the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings. They are both epic in their own way.

Follow Friday (3)
It's time to end the week with Follow Friday Hop hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. Don't forget to enter the giveaway to win a copy of The Fire Lord's Lover by Kathryne Kennedy. Have a wonderful weekend!

A. Only three? Well, I guess I'll have to say Ilona and Gordon Andrews, Jill Shalvis, and Shelly Laurenston. The first two because I stalk their blogs since they're so entertaining. The last because I love her snarky writing which I hope reflects her personality.
Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

Follow Friday (2)
Hi everyone! It's time to end another week with Follow My Book Blog Friday Hop hosted by Parajunkee. As I mentioned in my profile, I'm not specifically a book blogger so I will only be posting a book review maybe once a week on Thursday. I hope you enjoy reading through my blog and have a wonderful weekend.

Q. What do I do when I am not reading?
A. I bake when the kitchen is free, which is quite rare in my household. Other than that, I watch reality TV shows like Project Runway, listen to a bunch of random music from different cultures and genres, draw random stuff, design and make jewelry, exercise, and gawk at clothes I wish to buy but can't afford at the moment. I'm particularly fond of looking at and buying shoes.

Follow Friday (1)
Hi everyone! I'm new to this whole Follow My Book Blog Friday Hop hosted by Parajunkee. Hopefully I don't bungle this up somehow.

A: The worst book that I've read and finished has to be The Orchid Thief
Q: Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?
A: The worst book that I've read and finished has to be The Orchid Thief
by Susan Orlean. I don't remember much about it, only that it was literally about a man obsessed with orchids. It became my knock-me-out-as-soon-as-possible-after-a-long-day read. I bought the book when I was in middle school based solely on the cover. Never again! Well, maybe just sometimes. :)
P.S. I can't believe they made a movie out of it!
